Carousel dispute: 31-year-old stabbed

A 31-year-old man was stabbed and died after an argument on Send in Münster. A previously unknown perpetrator got into an argument with the 31-year-old on Saturday night at the fair in the carousel, as police announced the Attorney General. The perpetrator is said to have stabbed his opponent with a knife during the argument. Despite immediately starting resuscitation measures, he died instantly of his injuries.
According to earlier information, the two men met by chance during transmission. The perpetrator was also traveling with a male companion. After the incident, both of them fled, a police spokesman said early Sunday morning. The search for the suspect continued.
The Send in Münster Festival takes place three times annually at the festival site on Schlossplatz. The festival attracts “year after year up to a million visitors,” the city announced on its website. Up to 200 exhibiting companies can be found at the fair at a time. This year’s spring sale ends on Sunday.
