A policeman was seriously wounded by the attacker’s gunshot wound with a knife

The attacker was killed in a knife attack on a Garmin police officer in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The attacking officer was seriously injured in the act on Friday evening and was taken to a hospital as police announce.

A police spokeswoman said the 32-year-old German suspect was in an exceptional mental condition. He died of a serious gunshot wound. More details are still unclear. The police operation was on private property.
